Naomi Meesters (1989) trained as a nurse and a midwife and started working in the neonatal intensive care unit after graduating in 2012. Here, she became increasingly interested in nursing research and was appointed a research nurse in April 2014. In September 2014 she started with a Nursing and Midwifery master’s program, next to her job. Her research focus is on pain assessment in neonates and she is also interested in non-pharmacological pain treatment.
